After God sends the rain...

...we get to play in mud puddles!!

LiveWire goes for a swim in the "ocean." LittleLad checks out the softer puddle pools. Splishity Splash.

I had to take off his soggy diaper and put on a swim diaper.

We have pool passes, but this worked even better today! Check out those joyful little faces!

Then Littlelad caught us some din-din...

The Naturalist took a canoeing break down the river.

The Artist and LiveWire quickly followed suit.

When you pray for rain, expect the joy of puddles to follow.

Hope you all had a blessed, fun, and safe day!

Ha!--this was our front yard and cul-de-sac!!! We were totally flooded. We couldn't go anywhere, (didn't want to risk flooding the car), so we just made the most of the flood at home! :-)

Wow...ya know we had about 4 feet in our lowend pasture...never even thought of getting out in it! Man! Next time, call and remind me to go have some muddin' fun! (Dawg would have a blast with permission to float the 4-wheeler, LOL!)

Wendy, I think I finally figured this thing out! Love the pictures, someone from the city was suppose to do something about the flooding problems, lets pray they do before it rains for 24 hours and we all have water in our houses!

Wow Wendy! I had no idea the flooding was so bad in certain areas. Sorry if it caused any damage. I live atop a hill up from downtown so we don't have too much trouble with flooding but we have had to adjust our backyard a bit to let it drain. I hope they get your neighborhood fixed soon.
OH! We used to live in an undraining neighborhood between the State line and the high school and our house flooded once but the City paid for us to have new carpet put in. That was SO GREAT! Oops, it probably came from the funding bucket not to be used on schools. Maybe I shouldn't be so selfishly excited. ;)

Aren't kids great, that doesn't even register as a disaster to them. They see fun, fun, fun. Ocean everywhere. Oh, to see the world as a child!

Shannon, you are so funny...funding bucket...selfishly excited...funny girl...
